An investigation is underway concerning a shooting at a South Seattle nightclub, Studio Seven.
An unidentified male victim was taken to a hospital, identified as Harborview Medical Center, with a life-threatening injury, as confirmed by the Seattle Police Department. A later report clarified that the victim eventually died of his wounds while being treated at the hospital. He was said to be 27 years of age at the time of his death.
The investigation is believed to be ongoing and active. The Seattle Police Department has asked people to contact them to send what information they have.
The SPD Blotter explained the situation more in detail:
“At approximately 1:10 am, officers responded to reports of a man shot inside a club in the 100 block of South Horton Street. Officers immediately began life-saving measures for the man, and then Seattle Fire medics took over care and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.”
According to King 5 News, the following statement was given about the investigation:
“Investigators don’t have a suspect description at this time. They are still gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.”
At this time, no official description of the shooting suspect has been given to the public. Currently, police have made no arrests in the case.

“This is the third murder in Seattle so far of 2018. On Jan. 15, Jennifer Ayers, 63, was raped in her Lake City home and then set on fire. Michael Giordano, 23, of Bellevue, was arrested shortly after Ayers’ body was found. He is facing an aggravated first-degree murder charge.”
“On Jan. 28, Nissan Latrice Pigford, 34, was stabbed to death during a confrontation with another woman in the Rainier Beach neighborhood.”
