President Donald Trump will be holding his first State of the Union Address this Tuesday, January 30th at 9 pm EST. U.S. Representative Joe Kennedy III and Virginia Delegate Elizabeth Guzmán will be giving the Democratic Party’s response in English and Spanish respectively.
The address will supposedly cover five major policy issues: the economy, infrastructure, immigration, trade, and national security. More specifically, Trump is expected to tout the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and echo his campaign call for “fair” and “reciprocal” trade deals.
