James Franco, born April 19, 1978, is an American actor, director and college professor known for his roles in 127 Hours, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, Milk, Pineapple Express, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Spring Breakers, Oz the Great and Powerful, This Is the End, The Interview and The Disaster Artist.
