Ferrum College Shooting: Full Story & Must-See Updates Of Shelter In Place

Ferrum College students have been told to shelter in place after reports of a gunman near campus. Shots have reportedly been fired.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s office reports that the shots were fired on Prillaman Switch Road near the school. The suspect is reportedly a white male with a dark beard and dark hair. The Sheriff’s Office also confirmed that they have yet to find a gun or body.

Students and faculty on Ferrum’s campus have been instructed to stay in their classrooms and await further instruction.
