The 2018 Royal Rumble is shaping up to be a truly historic event. For the first time ever, there will be two Royal Rumble matches in one night. Speaking of firsts, this event will also host the first-ever women’s exclusive Royal Rumble, as 30 women compete for the right to challenge for either the Raw or SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 34. The other Royal Rumble match will be the traditional 30-man over-the-top battle royal for a shot at the WWE Championship or WWE Universal Championship at this year’s WrestleMania.
This event will also feature two huge world title matches. “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar is set to defend his WWE Universal Championship against “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman and “The Big Red Machine” Kane in a triple threat match. Lesnar is in for one hell of a fight, but AJ Styles might be doomed from the start when he puts his WWE Championship on the line against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a two-on-one handicap match.
