Jerry Richardson, a former NFL player and the founder and principal owner of the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League, is looking to sell the franchise after accusations of workplace misconduct.
Richardson was drafted in the 13th round by Baltimore Colts in 1959. Richardson played two seasons in the NFL and won Colt Rookie of the Year honors in 1959. He caught a touchdown pass in the 1959 NFL Championship Game from quarterback Johnny Unitas.
