November Movies 2017: Top 10 Must-See New Film Releases

November has finally arrived and while the main thing on everyone’s mind this month is Thanksgiving coming up soon, Hollywood is serving up some pretty awesome movies in this jam-packed month! Not only are we getting huge releases like the long gestating and highly anticipated Justice League and the next installment in the Thor franchise Thor: Ragnarok; but we are also getting our first glimpses at possible upcoming Oscar nominees with Lady Bird and Call Me By Your Name. 

November’s slate of movies is ready to kick off the Holiday movie going season with an eclectic and exciting lineup of films to see. From psychological horror thrillers like, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, and raunchy comedies like the upcoming sequel, A Bad Mom’s Christmas there is definitely a movie for everyone coming out this month!

10. A Bad Mom’s Christmas

9. Thor: Ragnarok

8. The Killing of a Sacred Deer

Writer and director, Yorgos Lanthimos, returns to the screen with his follow up to his somewhat decisive 2015 film, The Lobster, with this highly stylized, unsettling and intriguing horror film, The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Following the story of a surgeon (Farrell) who befriends a young unstable patient who starts to weave his way into the surgeon’s life.


7. Lady Bird

Written and directed by Greta Gerwig, in her directorial debut, comes a comedy-drama partly inspired by her real life. Tired of her life in California and desperate to move to New York (where there’s “culture”), Christine “Lady Bird” McPherson decides to live her life the only way she knows how…by being true to herself.


6. Murder on the Orient Express

5. Daddy’s Home 2

Mark Wahlberg and Will Farrell team up again once more for this sequel to the 2015 movie, Daddy’s Home. Picking up after the events of the first movie, Daddy’s Home 2 will now pit the two grandfathers of each family together. With Mel Gibson playing Mark Wahlberg’s dad and Jon Voight playing Will Farrell’s father, this sequel will sure to have some gut busting laughs!
