2017’s New York Comic Con was one full of amazing and even mind-boggling cosplays and costumes. From the mesmerizing costumes to the WTF is that looks, we’ve chosen our favorite craziest cosplay from the show.

With the meteoric rise of cosplay, people from all walks of life have been showing their love for their fandoms while banding together to create an inclusive and fun space for all. While some choose to stick to easier to pull off outfits, some Cosplayers take the challenge and create awe-inspiring outfits!

Baby Groot (Guardians of the Galaxy)

Baby Groot was dancing ALL over the show floor in this amazing recreation of the iconic scene from the first “Guardians” movie!


Carnage (Spider-Man)

Towering over the puny heroes, classic “Spider-Man” villain Carnage was there to scare away any wannabe heroes AND villains!


Samurai Jack & Aku

These two cosplayers decided to take their NYCC cosplay to a new level by dressing as rivals, Samurai Jack and Aku from the classic acclaimed show, Samurai Jack!

Lion Minotaur (?)

Honestly, I can’t tell you where this character is from or who it is but I can tell you that is was one of the most stunning outfits of the entire convention!

Pirates of the Carribean

One of the best cosplays of the weekend has to go to this group of Pirates from the hit Disney films, Pirates of the Carribean. With an amazing Davy Jones and a bumbling Jack Sparrow, this group killed their cosplays!
