After getting ripped to shreds by Dakota Meyer, a Medal of Honor recipient, former Marine, and true hero, for his actions during the deadly Las Vegas shooting, Dan Bilzerian is doing everything he can to save face, and honestly, it’s pathetic and tone deaf.
On the night of the shooting, Bilzerian posted a video to Instagram live of him running away from the scene, saying some girl just got “shot in the f*cking head”. It was a bad look, as many saw it as Bilzerian using the tragedy for “clicks”. One of those people was American Hero Dakota Meyer, who had this to say about Bilzerian:
This is why children shouldn’t classify heroes by their followers or their photos. @danbilzerian this is what kills me about people like you. Always playing “operator dress up” and so so tough when the cameras are on. A woman just got shot in the head and you are running away filming that’s not what operators do. Please stop trying to be someone your not. People are dying, you’re running away not helping them and pretending it’s worthy of a video is disgusting.
Bilzerian didn’t appreciate Meyer’s comments, taking to Snapchat to defend himself, but only making matters worse by referring to Meyer (reminder: Medal of Honor recipient) as a “retard”.

Not only that but now, video has “emerged” (obviously, it was uploaded to the internet by one of his buddies) that shows Bilzerian — still wearing a cowboy hat, mind you — approaching a uniformed police officer, asking for a gun.
Bilzerian, showing his “creds” asks for a weapon to “fight back”. The real cop’s response?: “No, get the f*** away from me right now!”
Dan Bilzerian wants so desperately to be seen as some sort of hero that he’s taking the time to leak footage of him asking a police officer for a gun so he could “fight back”. Not only is it laughable, it’s idiotic: what were you going to do, Dan? Fire a handgun from 1000 yards away at the Mandalay Bay, hoping you strike the shooter?
This isn’t a Michael Bay movie, Dan. You aren’t on Seal Team Six. Just because you play Call Of Duty with Steve Aoki, doesn’t mean you’ve had battlefield experience. You’re a professional gambler and Instagram influencer with a gun hobby, get over yourself.

Ol’ Danny B needs to just accept the fact that he made himself look like an asshole during one of the biggest tragedies in American history and learn to live with that.
