Kurt Angle kicks off Raw

Angle is back, baby! He announces a battle of the giants tonight between Big Cass and Big Show. Plus, we have a monster triple threat main event later tonight. But then… Out comes WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman.

Heyman complains about Angle making a Fatal 4-Way for his client Lesnar at SummerSlam. He thinks Kurt is trying to stack the deck against Lesnar. If Brock loses this at SummerSlam then he will leave WWE along with Paul Heyman.

Dean Ambrose doesn’t trust Seth Rollins

Dean Ambrose wants to make one thing clear: he doesn’t trust Seth Rollins. He says he needs eyes in the back of his head with Rollins. Ambrose got burned once, and he doesn’t want to get burned again.

The Hardy Boyz vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Matt and Jeff kick some serious ass. Each Hardy controls both of their opponents. Matt looks like he’s about to tear Karl Anderson’s arm off. Corey Graves reports that Matt called Anderson “an obsolete mule.”

The Hardys knock their opponents out of the ring, and stand tall before we go to the commercial break.

Gallows is in control of Jeff as we return from the break. We see a clip showing Luke almost kicking Hardy’s head off. Gallows and Anderson work over Jeff, who fights back and tags in Matt. The #Broken Hardy takes control of Anderson until Gallows kicks him in the back of the head. Gallows & Anderson set up Matt for a Magic Killer, but Jeff intervenes. Gallows tries to fight Matt, but eats a Twist of Fate. Jeff gets the tag and hits the Swanton Bomb off the top rope for the win.

The Hardy Boyz defeats Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Post-Match: The Revival get into the face of The Hardy’s at the top of the entrance ramp. Both teams start brawling. Gallows & Anderson run down and join the fray. The Hardys are kicking ass once again. They take out Gallows. Then the Hardys charge Karl Anderson & Dash Wilder and knocks them off the stage. Both Hardys hit Twists of Fate on Scott Dawson. Matt goes down on all fours to create a bridge, Jeff charges, jumps off his mouth and onto the recovering Anderson & Wilder. Bad-ass!

Akira Tozawa, Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann and vs. Tony Nese, TJP & Ariya Daivari

This was a high-flying affair. Hats off to the members of the Cruiserweight division. After a back-and-forth match up, Tozawa, Alexander & Sawnn got the upperhand as they ran the ropes and flew out of the ring onto their opponents. Swann takes out TJP, and Tozawa seals the deal with a Flying Senton.

MizTV w/ Jason Jordan

Miz offers Jason Jordan a spot in The Miztourage. Jordan declines and doesn’t want anything to do with Miz or his crew. Plus, he’ll earn his opportunity and he won’t be given anything just because he’s Kurt Angle’s son. Jordan basically tells Miz and his boys to f*ck off. The Miztourage look upset. Miz is about to lunge, but gets caught in a suplex. Jordan tosses Miz onto his two cronies, knocking the entire Miztoruage down in the process.

Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus

Sheamus takes the fight to Seth Rollins, grappling with “The Architect” and knocking him down to the mat. Rollins gains control, but after a quick distraction from Cesaro, Sheamus is able to turn the tide. “The Celtic Warrior” levels Seth and stands tall as we go to the commercial break.

The Celtic Warrior drops Rollins off the top rope with a vicious Rolling Senton. Rollins recuperates and springboards right into an Irish Curse back-breaker by Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior squashes Rollins in the corner. Sheamus tries to hit a big move, but Rollins counters. Seth hits an enzirguri kick, and knocks Sheamus out of the ring. Rollins takes control. Sheamus tries fighting back,  but eats a Sling Blade.

Rollins is about to take out Sheamus, but Cesaro climbs up on the apron and provides a distraction. Seth takes out Cesaro. Sheamus goes on the attack, but Rollins rolls him up for the win.

Post-Match: Cesaro sneaks up on Ambrose and ambushes him from behind. Dean tries fighting back, but he’s overcome by the tag team champions. Sheamus & Cesaro mop the floor with Seth Rollins. They leave the ring and then return to continue the assault. “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose rushes down to the ring. He fights hard against both men, but quickly he is taken down by the vicious champions. Sheamus levels Ambrose with a huge Brogue Kick. Cesaro & Sheamus are kicking arse!

Bray Wyatt address Finn Balor

Wyatt talks trash about Finn Balor and the crowd. Balor is leading a lie and The Eater of Worlds will extinguish him. He says Balor is “living off of borrowed time” and yesterday’s dreams and promises just like the fans in attendance. Bray taunts the crowd and “The Demon King” some more until…

Finn Balor’s music hits. The arena goes dark, and when the lights go back on, Balor is in the ring. He has his back turned to Bray. Wyatt attempts to attack Finn from behind, but Balor his a big kick to Bray’s face. Wyatt rolls out of the ring. Balor continues the assault, crushing Wyatt into the barricade with a dropkick.

Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman assaults both men at the start of the match. Strowman leaves both Joe and Reigns beaten down at ringside.

Strowman is still in control as we return from the break. Reigns fights off Strowman into the crowd. Reigns returns to take the fight to Samoa Joe. Braun returns with vengeance on his mind. He manhandles both Joe and Reigns.

Roman gains control, but Joe reverses with a Coquina Clutch. Strowman breaks up the hold and knocks both men on their asses. Braun stands tall and is about to annihilate Joe with the steel steps, but Reigns intervenes by Superman Punching the big man. Strowman falls out of the ring. Reigns hits Joe with a huge spear.

Elias Samson vs. Kalisto

Elias Samson starts off this segment beneath a spotlight. He sings a song, talking trash about the city and its people. The crowd boos and Samson smiles. Kalisto’s music hits, interrupting Samson’s song. Elias controls the start of the match, punishing Kalisto and sending him outside the ring as we go to the commercial break.

As we return from the break, Elias is in supreme control over Kalisto. Samson is wrenching Kalisto’s neck back with a submission. Elias lets go of the hold to drop knees on his opponents back. Samson locks in the submission once more. Kalisto fight out, but runs right into a big boot. Samson asks the crowd, “Who wants to walk with Elias?”

Samson stomps Kalisto into the corner. Elias scoops up his opponent and slams him to the mat. Samson goes for the cover, but Kalisto kicks out. Samson drops his opponent once more, but the smaller man is able to kick out and fight back. Kalisto is fighting back hard with a flurry of offense. The little masked men fires back with electric offense on Elias, hitting with hard and intense kicks. But one false move and Samson is back in control. Elias finishes off Kalisto in an instant with a snap swinging neck-breaker.

Nia Jax vs. Bayley

Bayley and Nia Jax square off. Jax gains the early advantage, using her imposing strength to subdue the smaller Bayley. Nia sends her opponent sailing out of the ring. Bayley moans in pain. Jax stands tall in the ring as go to commercial break.

Jax continues the assault. Bayley’s shoulder looks hurt, but she still fights back, taking the action outside the ring. Alexa Bliss comes out of nowhere, but Bayley catches her and knocks her to the floor. Bayley stomps on Bliss and starts punching her in the face. Jax attacks Bayley. Nia is about to charge towards Bayley, but the smaller wrestler moves out of the way and Jax hits the steel steps hard. Bayley rolls back in the ring and the referee makes the 10 count.

Bayley defeats Nia Jax via countout

Post-Match: Alexa Bliss chases Bayley out of the ring. Bliss slips and ends up on her knees in the ring. Nia Jax stands by her side.

Big Cass vs. Big Show

Show takes the fight to Cass. Big Cass tries fighting back, but Show keeps chopping him in the chest. Show sends Cass over the top. Cass and Show brawl. Cass takes out Show with a big boot. Enzo jumps on Cass’ back and the referee calls for the bell.

Big Cass defeats Big Show via disqualification

Post-Match: Big Cass looks to assault Enzo, but eats a Knockout Punch from The Big Show.
