Happy National Daiquiri Day, folks! It’s probably a ridiculously early time to celebrate with a drink, but it’s never too early to check out some intoxicating memes and GIFs. Today is a date dedicated to the wonders of a rum-based cocktail.
On Wednesday 19, 2017, the pious people of America honor the alcohol-infused daiquiri. What a time to be an American!
It’s time to make daiquiris great again! Yup, I couldn’t help but infuse Donnie Freedom’s catchphrase into the mix. But seriously, the guy never drinks because his brother died from the effects of alcoholism. So, he’d say “poo poo” to those fruity cocktails.

Daiquiri Ingredients
- 1.5 oz White Rum
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 oz Lime Juice
Daiquiri Preparation
- Pour all the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes
- Shake well
- Strain in chilled cocktail glass
