San Antonio Middle School Secretary Arrested For Having Relationship With 14-Year-Old

|

Stephanie Carmona, a 34-year-old San Antonio middle school employee, was arrested Thursday, June 15, after she was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy.

Carmona, 34, is facing a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child, which is a first-degree felony.

According to the arrest affidavit, Carmona and the 14-year-old victim first met when the boy was a 7th-grade student at McNair Middle School. When the student reached 8th grade, he requested Carmona, a secretary at the school, as his mentor through a school program.

Jesse Salame, a spokesperson for the San Antonio Police Department, said that Carmona ‘befriended’ the boy’s mother at some point, which led to ‘sleepovers where she would have sexual intercourse with him.’

The affidavit says that one day Carmona bought the victim a meal. The victim texted her a thank you note with heart emojis. “Stop sending me those kisses, or I will give you this a–,” she allegedly responded.
Carmona then struck up a relationship with the victim’s mother, and she allowed them to stay in her own home for three weeks as a favor to the family.

One night when the victim and his mother were at her house, according to the affidavit, Carmona allegedly walked into the victim’s room, told him to take his pants off and then had sex with him. Afterwards, Carmona left without a word and took a shower.

“The victim stated he was a virgin before the suspect had sex with him and wasn’t sure how to deal with what happened,” the affidavit states. The victim and his mother later reported the relationship to police on May 19. The victim told investigating officers that Carmona also sent images of her buttocks to the victim. Carmona allegedly admitted to sending him the photos

She remains in the Bexar County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
