National Best Friend Day is almost over. This gives you enough time to call your pal, shoot the breeze, and perhaps, schedule another fun time of friendship. And to those who now have grudges with their best friend, maybe today is a good day to squash the beef and start over like old times.

If you don’t have a human best friend, animals certainly do count for something. They can provide the much-needed warmth to your heart during those cold, lonely nights. Don’t have a lovable animal nearby? Well, then just flick on the television screen or go on social media. I’m sure you’ll find that special friend there somehow. Your favorite TV character can fill in as your bestie. Though maybe those Instagram models will be a bit of a stretch to substitute as your bff.
