Nicholas Sherman is a Tim Man impersonator, who is also in the market for some brains. This past Sunday, the New Yorker was hired to work a gig as the worst main character in The Wizard of Oz. That’s right, I said it! The Wizard of Oz would’ve been a million times better if somebody dropped a house on that annoying slapdick.
When he was done portraying that squeaky ass dweeb, Sherman made the terrible decision to drink and drive. Here’s The Smoking Gun with all of the pertinent details.
Nicholas Sherman, 31, was collared after cops responded to a 911 call about an “intoxicated male on private property” in Sullivan, a town about 15 miles east of Syracuse. The homeowner told police that “Sherman had drove to the residence with another male and was asked to leave.”
Sherman, arrested for drunk driving, registered a blood alcohol content of .19, more than twice the legal limit. He is scheduled for a June 20 court appearance on the misdemeanor charge.
It’s safe to say that the Tin Man was a little too lubed up on that fateful night. All I’m picturing now is Sherman scrambling to try to scheme his way out of getting arrested. “Pay no attention to that drunk as a skunk driver, policemen!”
You can follow the Yellow Brick Road all you want, but if you can’t stay in-between the yellow lines, you’re heading to the slammer. Over the limit, under arrest. Take that, ya heartless bastard.
