The New York Rangers just got on the board in this series as they defeated the Ottawa Senators in Game 3 on Tuesday. The Rangers will look to continue to apply offensive pressure as they attempt to come away from Game 4 with the series knotted up.
The Senators have been knocked off balance a bit as the Rangers high-powered offense and hard-hitting style has seemingly limited their scoring chances. In Game 3 the Rangers kept their zone clear and kept Henrik Lundqvist from having to save a ton of shots.
The Rangers’ defense has improved tremendously after giving up multiple scoring chances in Game 3. Ryan McDonagh and Brady Skjei have been playing lights out hockey and should continue to put a hurting on the Senators forwards.
Game 4 is another must-win for the Rangers if they are looking to get back into the series. Expect the crowd at Madison Square Garden to keep the Blueshirts energized as they look to head back to Ottawa with two wins.
