Easter Sunday is here once again, in one of the more popular holidays around the world. From egg hunts to extremely uncomfortable pictures with the Easter bunny, it’s a great holiday. The religious holiday of Easter is the culmination of Jesus’ resurrection from the tomb after his death. The date in the Christian faith varies between March and April each year, depending on the first Sunday following the full moon after the vernal equinox on March 21.
The Easter bunny first originated with German Lutherans in the late 1600s and basically played the part of a Spring Santa Claus, where it judged whether or not children had been good that year and deserved to receive Easter eggs. I bet Santa must have been pissed when the bunny rolled in and stole his shtick.
