The First Trailer For Spike's Documentary 'I Am Heath Ledger' Is Here

They say there is no greater tragedy than wasted talent, and while the saying may have become a little cliche over the years, it couldn’t be any truer when it comes to Heath Ledger.
In 2008, just months before the classic (yes, modern classic) The Dark Knight was released, 28-year-old Heath Ledger died due to accidentally mixing a fatal concoction of prescription pills, leaving behind not only a life of endless potential but more importantly, a young daughter.
Now, almost a decade after the actor’s passing, a documentary about the life of Heath Ledger is coming to Spike.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the film explores Ledger’s Hollywood rise with roles in 10 Things I Hate About You, The Patriot, Brokeback Mountain, The Dark Knight, Monster’s Ball, and more. Naomi Watts, Ben Mendelsohn, director Ang Lee, and Ledger’s family and friends are some of the interviewed subjects.
