ABC’s Dancing With The Stars is back for season 24 with 12 brand new celebrity contestants competing in the no-holds-barred Hunger Games of reality TV. While judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough, and Bruno Tonioli are all returning, a few familiar faces will unfortunately not be present.
Derek Hough, Tony Dovolani, and Mark Ballas will not longer be with the show. Hough recently joined Jennifer Lopez’s new upcoming reality competition show World of Dance as a judge, so he gets a pass.
“I don’t know if I’ll be back next season,” Hough told TV Guide last year. “It’s too early to say. I have a few projects on my plate, but you never know what’s going to happen. I didn’t think I was going to come back to the show a couple times now and ended up coming back. That show will always be my family.”
