He’s back. He’s finally back.
This is a preview for two of the three Netflix specials that Chappelle has lined up. In the below trailer, clips from Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin and Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas are sprinkled throughout, giving us a taste of that classic Chappelle delivery.
Deep in the Heart of Texas was filmed at Austin City Limits live at the Moody Theater in April 2015 and was thought to be an HBO special at the time. While it seems clear that the first two specials have been filmed in years past, hopefully the third has yet to be taped so Chappelle can go off on current events. After all, that’s when he’s at his best.
Dave Chappelle’s first two stand-up specials in 13 years, The Age of Spin and Deep in the Heart of Texas, will be released on Netflix March 21, 2017.
