Fat Tuesday is here so fill up your beers, pour your shots and mentally prepare yourself for the debauchery that is sure to ensue.
On this day, a great day to be sure, we drink and eat everything in sight. Here, kick back and have a Guinness and some sausage patties. No? How about some tequila and a few dozen beignets. That not doing it for you either? Okay, then just chug this Fireball and have some Sour Patch Kids.
What Is Fat Tuesday?
Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent and a day of fasting (you can see why we get the drinking and eating in first). Fat Tuesday, also known as Mardi Gras, enables people to really cut loose and enjoy themselves before submitting to the strict rules of religion.
Yeah, it’s got a whole Yin and Yang thing going on. Better take advantage of it while you still can.
