Utah Teacher Already Accused Of Sexual Assault Gets Caught With Second Student

Sarah Lindsay Lewis, a Utah dance teacher, has been charged with rape. Lewis, who was already accused of raping one of her 17-year-old male students, is now accused of having sex with another boy at the school where she worked.

Lewis, 27, from Payson, Utah, teaches social studies and dance at Landmark High School in Spanish Fork. Lewis was officially charged with rape, tampering with a witness, and two counts of supplying alcohol to a minor last month.

Via Salt Lake Tribune:

Prosecutors filed an additional charge of first-degree felony rape and another two counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor, accusing the woman of having sexual contact with a second 17-year-old boy.

Because both of the students are under the age of 18, and Lewis “occupied a position of special trust” as their teacher, prosecutors say the two boys could not legally consent to any sexual contact.

Both of the alleged victims were students at Landmark High School in Spanish Fork, where Lewis taught social studies and dance.

School district officials have said that Lewis was placed on leave immediately after the administration learned of her arrest. She is expected in court again February 27.
