Voting for the finals of Miss COED 2017 begins this Wednesday, so we’re highlighting each of our contestants before you (unfortunately) have to choose a favorite.
Brittany Love hails from the University of Kentucky and is studying Kinesiology. She would eventually like to become a pediatric oncologist and work for an organization like St. Jude. She’s also the founding member of Alpha Chi Omega and plays intramural sports at UK.
Yet life wasn’t always easy for Brittany. Her grandfather was murdered when she was younger and her dad was tragically killed when he was hit by a car. She also grew up in an area “overrun by drugs and ignorance,” but she’s here today to run for Miss COED 2017 to use it as a platform; she wants others to know that your past does not define you and to always work hard and chase your dreams.
Although Brittany sounds like an incredible lady (which she is), I’ll leave you with a few more fun facts about our girl reppin’ the SEC before you make a decision.
- If she could change one thing about the world, it would be the hate and superiority some people feel due to race, religion, gender, political views, etc.
- She’s the Dance Chair and Greek Song Chair in Alpha Chi Omega.
- Her biggest pet peeve is when people are passive aggressive. Amen!
- She has a TON of school pride and says UK feels like home.
Don’t forget to check back on Wednesday, February 22 to vote in the finals of Miss COED 2017. You’ll be able to vote for multiple girls once a day for two weeks, so make your voices heard. With your help, one of these ladies – maybe Brittany! – will take the top prize.
