Does this change anything? No. The Falcons still blew a 28-3 second half lead and that is absolutely inexcusable. During a year in which both the Warriors and Indians blew 3-1 leads, the Falcons proved to be the biggest choke job of them all.
That said, James White is clearly down before crossing the goal line. No question. How the referees didn’t review this is beyond me. Aren’t all scoring plays supposed to be reviewed? What happened, Goodell? Of all the times to utilize instant replay, a Super Bowl-deciding run is probably one.
