I Watched 'The Bachelor' For The First Time & It Was The Most Cringeworthy Experience Of My Life

I was born in 1993. The Bachelor premiered in 2002. By my calculations, The Bachelor has been on the air for more than half of my life, and yet I’ve never seen an episode.
Well, last night I watched my first ever episode of The Bachelor, and it was way more painful than I could have ever imagined. When I use the phrase cringeworthy, I mean it literally. I was physically cringing through half of the episode. I literally hid my face in my palms due to secondhand embarrassment. The Bachelor is essentially just two hours straight of women at their worst. And I always thought there was some sort of cash prize at the end… Nope! The only prize is getting engaged to whichever clown happens to be that season’s bachelor.
What I don’t understand is why these chicks even sign up for this show. Girls that look like this could have any rich dude they want. Why go through the embarrassment of a television show? Just be a regular gold digger.
Anyway, I hopped onto a podcast to talk about how little this show makes sense and how it’s essentially one giant lugee in the face of the American people.
