White nationalist and alt-right leader Richard Spencer was sucker-punched in the face by a protester as he was giving an interview on live television.
Spencer, a leader of the alt-right movement, was speaking about the protests in Washington DC on Friday when a masked man in a hoodie punched him directly in the face.
‘I was just physically assaulted twice by antifas. No serious damage. I can take a punch,’ Spencer tweeted.

Spencer, the white nationalist head of National Policy Institute, is one of the main figures of the alt-right movement, f has called for the “peaceful ethnic cleansing” for the creation of a “white-ethno state”.
Spencer responded to the punch on Twitter:
If law enforcement can't protect us from antifa assaults we will begin protecting ourselves.
