This Guy's Friends Made Fun Of Him For Buying Fake Drugs, So He Murdered Them

The first execution by legal injection of 2017 was a death row inmate in Texas, Christopher Wilkins. Wilkins was executed 11 years after he killed two of his friends who mocked him for falling for a fake drug deal. Wilkins testified he has “been trying to get myself killed since I was 12 or 13 years old”

Wilkins has been on Death Row since March 12, 2008. He was convicted of capital murder by a Tarrant County jury for fatally shooting Willie Freeman and Mike Silva on Oct. 28, 2005.
Wilkins told jurors he killed Freeman because Freeman ripped him off in a drug deal and laughed at him. Freeman’s friend, Silva, was killed because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He also admitted in a taped confession that he killed Gilbert Vallejo, 47, a day earlier outside a south-side bar during a dispute about a payphone.

This is a little bit of a hot take, but I’m going to say Freeman kind of asked for this one. I’m not sure if it’s in Biggie’s “10 Crack Commandments” but gloating about snaking someone on a drug deal TO THEIR FACE is definitely not a good idea, especially when that dude is a guy like Christopher Wilkins, who had literally murdered someone the day before.
I’m all for gaming the system and robbing someone blind if they’re dumb enough to fall for it (Darwinism, hello?), but it’s equally as dumb to count your proverbial chickens before they hatch, especially when the guy you just scammed is still in the room.
