In front of 20,000 of his most ardent and loyal supports, President Barack Obama gave his final speech as President of the United States in his adoptive hometown of Chicago.
“This is where I learned that change only happens when ordinary people get involved, get engaged, and come together to demand it,” Obama said to a packed hall of more than 20,000 supporters and Chicagoans.
After serving as commander in chief for eight years, Barack Obama steps down next Friday, January 20, to relinquish his seat to Donald Trump.
During his speech, celebrities of all shapes and sizes were tweeting up a storm, paying thanks to the inspiring leader of the nation.
