On June 8-11, 2017, Manchester, Tennessee will become the center of the music world, as the Bonnaroo Music Festival will make its long-awaited return. This will be the 16th edition of the yearly music festival, and as per usual, they’ve got another stacked lineup on their hands. Their group of headliners manages to be both diverse and badass, with U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, and Chance the Rapper set to melt faces.
Anybody who’s lucky enough to catch U2 will be in for a special treat. The legendary rockers are on a tour this summer in celebration of the 30th anniversary of The Joshua Tree, and they will be playing the entire album in full for the first time at live shows. Bonnaroo veterans will also note that this is the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ second headlining gig at the festival, as were previously booked in the same capacity in 2012.
Now that you know about the headliners, let’s take some time to get familiar with the full lineup and ticket details.
