USC Climbs & Alabama Finally Falls In The Last AP Top 25 Of The Season

An epic 2016-17 college football season came to a close last night, as the Clemson Tigers stunned the Alabama Crimson Tide with a last-second touchdown to win the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship in an epic rematch.

After Alabama marched down the field to retake a 31-28 lead with over two minutes remaining, Clemson was able to return the favor to win the game when Deshaun Watson completed a two-yard touchdown pass to slot receiver Hunter Renfrow with just one second left on the clock.

In the final AP poll of the season, the National Championship victory obviously pushed the Tigers up to No. 1 in the final AP Top 25 poll. USC, who took down Penn State at the Rose Bowl, jumped six spots up to No. 3 in the final college football rankings of the season.
