Beloved actress Carrie Fisher passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 60-years-old. Fisher suffered a heart attack on Friday, December 23, 2016, and unfortunately, she didn’t pull through. Family, friends, and colleagues alike were all devastated at the passing of such a talented actress and writer.
In an especially cruel twist of fate, Fisher’s mother Debbie Reynolds died just a day after Fisher left us. The 84-year-old actress passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from a suspected stroke.
Entertainment Tonight is reporting that Fisher and Reynolds will have a joint funeral and be buried next to each other. There may be a more public celebration later on, but they currently have only a private family memorial scheduled.
