The List Ranking All Rappers By Tiers Is Going Viral

||

Rap fans take the status of their favorite rappers seriously, maybe even more seriously than the rapper themselves. Just ask J. Cole fans what they think of people saying Cole’s new album is trash… You might just walk yourself into an ass beating. And that’s why this list that’s going viral today is awesome, because it’s sure to piss off a lotttttt of fanboys. And scrolling through pissed-off-fanboy tweets is one of my hobbies.

The list was divided into seven different tiers: Elite, Talented But Elite, Legends Past Their Prime, Underrated, Overrated, Overhyped “Legends” (Not Really) and lastly, Trash. Right off the bat, that’s an A+ ranking system. Not only is it hilarious, but it’s a truly genius way of splitting up the artists.

At the top, in the elite tier, are only four names, which, coincidentally, are my four favorite rappers: Drake, Kendrick, J. Cole, and Chance.

The second tier is another group of studs that include the likes of Big Sean, Childish Gambino, and Wale.

The real hilarity comes towards the bottom of the list. For example, Mac Miller is in both the ‘underrated’ and ‘overrated’ categories. How? I don’t know, but it makes perfect sense. You got Lil Dicky in the underrated, which is true, cause he is, and A$AP Rocky in the overrated, which is also true, because he also is.

And then at the wayyyy bottom is where the fun starts: the trash. Little surprising to see Fetty Wap down here with the rest of these clowns, but other than that, it’s all gold. You got about four to five Lils, Macklemore (ha!), Desiigner (who I personally think deserves his own tier), and then at the wayyyy bottom of the list is the heaping pile of shit known as Tyga. F*ck Tyga. NO idea how he still has Kylie Jenner locked down but enough is enough.

Here’s the full list:
