Nature man ya know. Nothing to reinforce the power of love and family like a baby whale pushing her Momma off and sand bar and into safety.
The footage shows the pair swimming in shallow water off North Stradbroke Island in Queensland before the adult became stuck. The baby whale, which is apparently called a calf (I learned something today!), could be seen nudging her distressed mother, who was unsuccessfully trying to splash her tail trying to free herself.
