Terence Crutcher’s (pictured in the white shirt being filmed by a Tulsa Police helicopter) car broke down in the middle of the road on Friday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Crutcher was shot dead shortly afterwards.
Above, officers aboard a police helicopter, which filmed the shooting of unarmed pastor Terence Crutcher, said he looked like a “bad dude” moments before he was gunned down. Two voices on board the helicopter commented that it was likely the 40-year-old pastor was going to be hit by a taser because he was “failing to follow commands.”
Moments later, one of the responding officers, Tyler Turnbough, hit Crutcher with a taser, and this was followed up by a second officer, Betty Shelby, who shot Crutcher with her firearm.

Tulsa Chief Chuck Jordan watched the video, which he found to be “very disturbing, very difficult to watch.” Jordan explained that no gun was found on Crutcher or in his vehicle, and did not elaborate because of what he called a pending criminal investigation.
As for Shelby, the officer who shot Crutcher, she was placed on paid administrative leave.
