A giant Nickelodeon themed amusement park is coming to the Meadowlands, so now all your childhood dreams will come true!
Well not all of them. You’ll still never be shortstop for the Yankees. And your dad will probably never love you. But the new Nickelodeon Universe theme park will at least bring all your Spongebob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and (let’s hope) Kenan & Kel dreams to life.
Of course, just because this was announced doesn’t really mean that much because this massive American Dream Mall next to Metlife stadium has been on hold for about a decade now. The eyesore building has more false starts than the Giants’ offensive line. It’s currently scheduled to open in 2018, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
If it does open though, a Nickelodeon theme park sounds awesome. This gives me a lot of incentive to find a woman to have my child in the next few years so that when this bad boy finally opens I’m not that creepy old guy having way too much fun by myself.
