The NFL season is finally back, and one of the best games of the week is an NFC East rivalry matchup between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. In a division as bad as the NFC East, picking up divisional wins where you can is huge, so even though this is the first game of the season, it carries the upmost importance.

As for the Giants, it is their first season under new head coach Ben McAdoo, and the first without two-time Superbowl winning coach Tom Coughlin. After a disappointing 6-10 season in 2015, during which they lost 7 games in the final 75 seconds, the Giants retooled this offseason, especially on defense. Big Blue, who are still led by Eli Manning and Odell Beckham JR, signed former Bengal cornerback Leon Hall, Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins, Jets nose tackle Damon ‘Snacks’ Harrison, and Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon. When it was all said and done, the Giants gave out over $110 million dollars in guaranteed money.
