Prosecutors Appeal Brendan Dassey's Overturned Conviction

It seemed as if ‘Making a Muderer’ subject Brendan Dassey was home free after a judge overturned his murder conviction. But the prosecutors in the case today appealed the decision, meaning he’ll stay imprisoned pending the outcome of the appeal.
For those who didn’t watch the show, Dassey was a mentally handicapped 16-year-old boy at the time of the 2005 killing of Teresa Halbach. He confessed to being an accomplice of the murder, but under highly dubious circumstances. The show raised doubts about the convictions of both Dassey and his uncle, Steven Avery.
Most unfortunately for Dassey, the pro wrestling fanatic might not be out in time after all to attend Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando in early April.
