The Premier League 2016-2017 season’s second week is underway. Arsenal is coming off an opening-week defeat to Liverpool, losing 4-3. Leicester City, the defending Premier League champions, were also defeated in their opening match. Leicester City lost at home to Premier League newcomers Hull City, 2-1.

The season began August 13, 2016, and will last until May 21, 2017. Leicester City are the defending champions, with Burnley, Middlesbrough and Hull City being promoted from the Football League Championship. Rounding out the top four from last season, are Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester City.
