There was a lot of turnover last season with the South Carolina Gamecocks. Coach Steve Spurrier retired halfway through the season and the Gamecocks finished 3-9 and at the bottom of the SEC East. It is a new season in 2016 however and with it allows the chance for things to improve. A very favorable home schedule should help matters but turmoil at the quarterback positon may derail any positive vibes as Perry Orth and Brandon McIlwain fight for the starting job. The team will be home for five straight games through October and while they will have to play Clemson to end the season, the team will just be looking for improvement in 2016 over a major bowl berth.
