When a team finishes in the bottom of the Big Ten Conference, many people believe that the team isn’t going to be very good the following season either. The Purdue Boilermakers finished 2-10 in 2015 and lost their last four games in the process. The 2016 season is one that has the make or break feel of any season in a long time. There is a ton of youth in the pass game with the team having just sophomores to throw out there which may make any progress difficult to make. The biggest thing for Purdue this season will be avoiding the bottom of the conference standings again and they can do that with wins over teams like Maryland and Indiana as the season rolls on.
