There was a shooting today at St. John’s University, in Queens, NY, during a botched robbery. St. John’s officials state that three men broke into Hollis Hall around 1:45 PM EST. The three men brandished a gun and fired off a round in an attempt to steal money from one of the residents.
The suspects ran out of the dorm without any stolen goods right into the hands of the police, who arrested them.
But as of now, “There is no continuing threat to our community at this time,” according to a statement on the school’s website.
