When Airbnb first became a thing, I was skeptical. You’re staying in someone else’s house in a random place and you have no idea where the owners are. Or, sometimes you do — they’re also staying there, only a few feet down the hall from you, plotting who knows what. Sounds like the makings of an awesome slasher flick. But now I realize I just watched way too many movies and am just a really big baby. Which is why I will never, ever partake in this Aquarium de Paris Airbnb, although it sounds amazing.
According to Business Insider, Airbnb will give three people and their guests the opportunity to spend a night surrounded by sharks at the Aquarium de Paris. Guests will stay 30 feet under water with just a piece of glass separating them from a bunch of flesh-eating sea creatures. Sounds fun, right?
To enter the competition, all you have to do is visit the Airbnb listing and submit a short explanation (50- to 550 characters) of who you are, where you’re from, and why you want to win by 11:59pm CET on April 3rd. From there, three winners will receive a free night’s stay for two people on either April 11th, 12th, or 13th. You must be 18 or older and able to climb into the shark tank bedroom without sh*tting your pants, according to the official rules.
Guests are warned not to take selfies after dark because “sharks are sensitive to light,” and to “keep your heads and feet into the bedroom at all times.” Not sure where else you would put them, but ok. Sounds like the chance of a lifetime… if you make it out of there alive.
