Winter Storm Jonas is keeping lots of people away from the movie theaters this weekend, so you might as well settle down to look at some new movie trailers. It’s already been a pretty busy week for trailers, with Neighbors 2 and a second Suicide Squad sneak making big debuts. But here are some more sneak peeks that need to be perused right now. Eddie The Eagle

FOX has to figure out a way to convince Americans to see a movie about a British Olympics hero who defied the odds to be a ski champion — but at least it isn’t soccer, right? So the studio is going big with a Super Bowl ad buy that features NFL heroes like Drew Brees assuring fans that they’ll enjoy this look back at one of the biggest underdogs of the 1980s. They don’t know how to push that underdog soundtrack, though. It’s full of ’80s acts performing new songs, plus a tune by Hugh Jackman…

Alice Through the Looking Glass

Here’s a big production getting a Super Bowl push, and we know that you’ve grown up a lot since the first Alice movie came out in 2010. But the good news is that Tim Burton’s latest trip to Wonderland will be shot in decent 3D this time, and he made up with his ex Helena Bonham Carter long enough for her to return as the Red Queen. Johnny Depp‘s Mad Hatter might even be less annoying this time. Also, you’ll be drunk by the time this airs, so you’ll go ahead and order your tickets through Fandango…

Deadpool [UK Soccer Trailer]

Another week, another specific Deadpool marketing gimmick — and the whole marketing industry is in trouble if this movie bombs. No movie’s worked harder to cover the bases, including this UK-themed soccer spot with Manchester United and Wayne Rooney. Great art direction, too. Deadpool’s bedroom looks just like our bedrooms. This movie must be for people like us….

And here’s a trailer that isn’t for people like us — although the script is supposed to be directed to recent college graduates. Instead, this comedy about struggling Millennials is seriously hateful. There’s a reason why everyone’s favorite Miles Teller movie has his character being abused through the running time. He sure looks happy here as a newly-minted part of the workforce going through employment issues. Then his girlfriend goes through employment issues, and some other people, and you keep hoping it turns into a slasher film…
