A new study has revealed the ideal number of sexual partners you should have in a lifetime: 10. You’re either feeling really bad about yourself because you’re way over, or feeling really good about yourself because you’re way over.
More than 1,000 people helped researchers find the answer in an online survey for Britain’s biggest extra-marital dating site IllicitEncounters.com. Sounds real steamy.
Each person was asked how many lovers they would want a new partner to have had and the most popular answer was between 8-12.
Within the group, 38% of women and 37% of men agreed that 10 was the “Goldilocks” answer – “neither too hot nor too cold”. Well, ok then!
The poll also suggested that those who did the dirty with more than 10 people were considered promiscuous, while having fewer partners were deemed sexually inexperienced. And as expected, men were particularly wary of women who had a higher number than 10, because everyone wants a God damn southern belle.
Participants also stated that any number above 20 was a turn-off. So uhh… is that like, over time? Or just this month? Or what? Asking for a friend.
