Lucy Hill: Must-See Photos of English Student Victim

After a tragic moped accident left her in critical condition, Leeds Beckett graduate Lucy Hill was in dire need of a blood transfusion. But there was a problem – her A- blood type was not only a rare find across the country, but was also not readily available at the Thai hospital she was staying in.
Luckily her traveling companion and friend Lauren Hall helped raise awareness through Facebook, giving truth to the idea that social media is actually good for something.

Both posts instantly went viral – along with a  fundraiser to help raise money for Lucy’s medical expenses – and dozens of eager donors lined up outside the hospital before it even opened this morning.
After three blood transfusions, and titanium plates inserted into her pelvis, Hill is said to be out of immediate danger, though she remains in the ICU.
Check out her must-see photos below.
