Golden Globes 2016: Best Actress, Drama

||

Best Actress Drama Golden Globes
Brie Larson may not be a Hollywood newcomer, but she’s rather new to the public eye after her epic role in Room.

Her role proved so noteworthy that Larson took home the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama.

In case you missed it, here’s the synopsis:

Held captive for years in an enclosed space, a woman (Brie Larson) and her 5-year-old son (Jacob Tremblay) finally gain their freedom, allowing the boy to experience the outside world for the first time.

Wow… downer. But we’ve been loyal fans to Larson since she stepped onto the screen as the quirky daughter of a woman with multiple personality disorder in The United States of Tara, so we vow to stand by her.
