Remember the adorable Pizza Rat from 2015, as social media embraced the struggling little guy who was running around with a big slice of pizza pie? Well, it looks like that rat went to work for COED and had to join us in eating fellow NYC’ers just to survive.
Check out the creepiest rat of the new year, as caught by the honorable JB José. Actually, he’s the one making assumptions about the rat’s identity with the video titled “Pizza Rat Turns To Cannibalism.”
Jose’s video description is a little more forgiving: “A little before midnight on Jan 2, 2016 at Jay St-Metrotech, Pizza Rat emerges from the darkness to retrieve his fallen comrade. Was it trying to the ‘wake up’ the other? Was it taking it away to eat? Will we ever know?”
Yeah, we’ll just be assuming the worst — although we wish this rat had picked up a taste for certain other New Yorkers. Still, maybe he’ll be the next Jeffrey Dahmer of the nature world and really cut down the rat population…
