Two University of Rochester students were kidnapped over the weekend and rescued by a SWAT team Sunday night.

Nicholas Kollias, 21, and Ani Okeke-Ewo, 21, were missing since 6:30 p.m. Saturday night. They had last been seen around 2 a.m. that morning near campus and were said to be traveling together in a 2005 BMW SUV.
Rochester Police Chief Michael Ciminelli announced that Kollias and Okeke-Ewo were recovering in a nearby hospital during a press conference Sunday night. The two boys suffered injuries, including a gunshot wound in the leg.
According to police, it was a targeted attack.
Six people have since been taken into custody and are currently being charged with assault and kidnapping.
