The University of Miami managed yesterday’s biggest play in college football with an amazing Lateral Fest that brought the Hurricanes all the way to a touchdown in the final minutes up against the Duke Blue Devils–for a 30-27 win, too.
The referees made the team wait to celebrate, though. They went over this play like it was the Zapruder footage. Things worked out okay, though, and we now get to watch one of the greatest lateral plays ever ran. Maybe even top three, if you want us to ramble on for a while about our rankings.
And this is after last weekend’s Georgia Tech run against FSU in the final minutes. We’re beginning to understand people who’ve given up on the NFL over the NCAA….
