Stephen Colbert gave out candy during a Halloween sketch last night on The Late Show, and also provided some product placement that proves product placement is pretty painful even when it’s referenced for laughs.
Still, it was a big night for Halo 5: Guardians. The new game took over The Late Show very efficiently, and tossed in some star power with a cameo from [SPOILER] the New England Patriots‘ Rob Gronkowski. What the hell. It’s kind of fun.
There’s also a valuable lesson to be learned here, which is that Rob Gronkowski doesn’t have much of a future as an actor. The little kid in the sketch was kind of broad in her delivery, but she left Gronk looking like he should’ve been delivering a pizza to Jenna Jameson…
