It looks like the Michigan State University statue of Magic Johnson, the school’s greatest athletic alumn, has been vandalized by University of Michigan students ahead of their big game this weekend.
Magic’s face has been covered with yellow spray paint, his body covered with a yellow M, and the words “Beat State” were painted at the base of the statue.

This is the second time that a Michigan State statue has been vandalized in a month.
We got an email from an MSU reader also telling us that “those f*ckers down the road” also painted the steps.
